The Apostolic Orthodox Church unites people professing
the faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the World.
The spiritual roots of the Apostolic Orthodox Church are in the Catacomb (True
Orthodox) Church in Russia, which refused to cooperate with the Godless
communist power and remained hidden many decades of spiritual oppression.
Our apostolic succession is from the Ukrainian Authocephalos Orthodox Church. Currently
the prime bishop of the Apostolic Orthodox Church is Archbishop Vitaly
(Kuzhevatov), Metropolitan of Moscow and All-Russia.
We try to follow the way of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose life and preaching
gave us an example, through the Apostles, which must be followed by every
Christian to spread the Gospel around the World.
We confess the Orthodox faith and the dogmas of the Seven Ecumenical Councils.
We allow liturgical diversity in order to to save souls.
We recognize Western and Eastern Christian heritage and the richness of
theological thought and liturgical traditions, and we are ready to work
together and to pray with other Christian Churches.
We suppose that a true unity of the Church is not in
the organizational structures, but in the spirit of brotherly love and communication
in faith and sacraments.
With the help of God, our Church is growing and developing. Communities of the
Apostolic Orthodox Church are in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities in
Russia, as well as in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Ukraine and
Belarus. The doors of our Church are open to all people.
